BioThis Livejournal contains the creative writing exercise of mine known as The Five: When Doves Cry. It's meant to be a full-length novel and one segment of a trilogy.
When Doves Cry, as part one of the trilogy, is currently one-third to completion.
This Livejournal will be friends-only. If you wish to be added, merely ask. Chapters will be posted as I complete them and obtain the confidence to post them. I am currently finished through eight chapters.
Please leave comments of constructive criticism. Do not ask to be added as a friend if you are merely going to make fun of my work. I do not think that it is "good" by any means, but figured I might as well post it and continue to work it until completion. It's based on characters I've had in my head since a child and have only recently had the time and storyline to post it.
"In the unending stalemate between two Empires, Good and Evil, Light and Dark, there was a man. Xanith, the most formidable champion of the Light Empire, overcame incredible odds and sickening prejudice to acheive his station in life. He defended the good side of the universe against the dark side of the universe without fail and without question. Life was pristine for Xanith, until one day when an Evil Sorcerer of the Dark Empire, jockeying for power within the Darkness, made it his mission to slay Light's greatest champion. In doing so, he set in motion a chain of events causing Xanith to befriend a group of orphaned outcasts and embark on a quest for vengeance, a quest which would lead to an unfathomable destiny."
Notes: The character name Ghaleon was taken from the Lunar series. I'll replace it when I think of a better one. All associations with the Ghaleon from the Lunar series should be disconnected from this character. He's different, dammit. The character name Orenda is property of pinayneedslovin. Elochi, MC Get Busy, Lemek, Malon, Kanar and others are all original creations by myself. All characters are original creations of myself, only the names were borrowed.
